Should 2k make VC purchasable?

Yes, offline myplayer will be easily hackable so I dont see the point in paying for something you probably can achieve for free, however, what about the new MyTeam mode? I can see many people willing to pay some money in order to improve their MyTeam online...

The point is, if you have a lot of time to play the game and get tons of VCs to improve your Myteam fine, but if you dont have so much time to play the game and prefer to spend a few bucks to also enjoy a better Myteam, what is the problem with that? In my view both are legit ways to get the same thing.

With VC, does this mean I can play a game online that has nothing to do with my MyPlayer, and then upgrade his ratigns using the points earned from that? If so, sounds kind of stupid to me. I want to upgrade him based on how well he actually performs when I use him.

You'd be cyber-roiding up tbh. Like someone posted before it'll take the fun of developing your player.

If they do make it purchasable, it will just take the fun out of earning it in the game. And if we can take those players online, we will be going against "bought" (and probably also "hacked") players, and people who don't earn their rating. It will ruin the fun. That's just my opinion tho. I'm sure lots of people would like that, and also 2k would really make bank off this idea cuz I'm sure there will be a lot of buyers on that.

This article says that VC's will be purchasable through micro-transactions. Haven't read that anywhere before.

How many people do you realistically expect to gain any sort of long-term advantage via purchasing VC? If they make an extremely good team they are going to have to constantly buy more VC to maintain the player salaries.

I really doubt anybody who plays 2K seriously has the money to continually dump into VC micro-transactions anyway. It will get expensive very fast.

For those with the time, building a my player is fun, for those of us who work upwards of 60 hours, work out, have a wife and kid to take care of as well, it'd be nice to be able to have a little bit extra at the beginning because I don't have a lot of extra time.

I guess you're right, and since you're working a lot, you can afford to buy the VC. For those that have a lot of time like me, we can all use those hours of free time to build our player. I'd rather find a job though, because being broke sucks, lol. Esp when you are done with college with a huge loan!
