I wouldn't say it blocks shots at all. But it does a better job of contesting shots. Pressing block button= automatic foul in most cases.

@MVP I don't think those guys are saying they should block every shot ...

Whatever works for you block's aren't a problem for me

Other then not being able to do anything about blocking dunks just gets annoying

I play teamup at center . I get blocks is if a guy is doing some weird layup animation.

The blocks I do get my hand goes through the ball

This is all it's really meant to do, get a hand up to shade a players view of the rim or make him mistime his release. There is little to no elevation with it so it doesn't really do a good job at blocking any shot where the shooter gets good elevation. Generally the only blocks this generates are blocks on player trying to muscle up a shot through contact with a player besides the guy you have with his hands up. It's not really useful for guys that are shot blockers; it's more for players that are shot changers.
