Okay for all you whiners lol...

Here are some peace of mind info's

1. The game runs better on PC, even 25 to 30 frames better per second.

2. Gameplay is night and day of 2k13.

3. More updates will come as of now they even have what version your playing on the start up screen.

4. Textures on Player models are now higher by double the size, so graphics are definitely different.

It may look almost identical to 2K13 on PC but yes, it really does play much better.

Much smoother and looser. No longer has the heaviness and locked in animations, especially for collisions.

Pretty cool so far.

Look past the graphics and think about the gameplay....you can't cheese, you can't iso as much. No more dumb turnovers like dribbling off a teammates leg. In 2K13 I play Superstar and it's easy. On 2K14 Superstar is actually really hard..."

wow very impressed with this game

they got the gameplay down, im actually glad they just worked on the gameplay since there is next gen for that instead of improving graphics etc...

sure theres no new modes, association is mostly untouched, but this game is hybrid between 2k13 and 2k11, just talking about gameplay in basketball sense, my initial impression is that it reminds me 2k11. The tightness in 2k11 + all the new gameplay mechanics introduced in 2k13, well done 2k

is there a large amount of people that play online for the pc versions of this game? tempted to buy the pc version this time around but not sure if there'll be enough people to be put up against in matches

Doesn't neccesarily guarantee updates though, right?

Check out the 2k14 release section on NBA-Live (sorry can't link at work) some good mods already coming through.
