Signature Shot Arc Types

Don't know if this is already posted, but Pau Gasol has a very high arc jumper.

I just thought I'd pop in here to say I hope that we can still arc shots over the top of a defensive close-out even with guys who have line drive shot arcs.

Oh, and Ben Wallace has a lot of arc on his FTs. No games seem to realize this.

Will these different types of shot arcs be effected by physics? For example, if a high arcing shot misses the ball has a higher chance of bouncing up and back in or near the hoop, or over the backboard. A flat shot that misses will bounce hard off the back of the rim and will have the possibility of a long rebound. This would be awesome if it wasn't just for looks and had an actual effect on gameplay. I also hope that there are a variety of animations for baskets and not always be a swish.

BTW, Rudy Fernandez has a high arcing shot.

Thats spot on. It takes the fun out of jump shooting because you cant time them right. Put in NBA Live 06 on 360 - at least the shooting is really great and a lot of fun.

All I know is Carmelo jumps high on his jumpshot and he has the most beautiful looking jumpshot known to man. Oh, didn't realize it said "arc". Anyway, Carmelo shoots the ball high.
