Though i liked the game, and having fun playing, it has gotten stale faster than i thought and lack of authenticity cries out.

KG on the other hand, is so freaking ghoulish looking in this game especially at the freethrow line. I couldnt put my finger on why KG looks so dang scary in this demo, but I realized what and why it reminded me of this:

You can literally replace MJ with Garnett in Thriller. Its not even funny.
ROFL!!

My biggest complaint with the demo is that 5-on-5 plays 100 miles an hour. They're skating and morphing and just flying up and down the court. Is there going to be a game speed setting on the retail version that I can turn waaaay down?

Re: NBA Elite 11 Demo Available For PS3, Later Today For 360, Post Impressions Here

To be honest, Live 10 was better to me. I didn't like the demo at all. Graphically and gameplay wise, I wasn't satisfied. Don't hate on my opinions, that's just how I feel.

I actually approve of the R2 passing control scheme and the right-stick dribbling. It is pretty nice if one sports game from a company and the other have a way of being similar to one another, stemming from the cover design to the menus to... you guessed it... the controls. Basketball and hockey are actually more similar than you think when you make the camera the same and omit goalies. After all, some arenas are retractable to be made into one sport venue or the other.

I wasn't sure if you made this statement as a negative or positive anyway, but I can certainly defend EA for what they did. Again, they have finally found a proper basis with control schema and RTP, and I hope it doesn't get scrapped or changed too much from here... but they still have a long way to go everywhere else, including gameplay features which as a result end up affecting both controls and physics.

Yesterday I played it and was immediately annoyed. Then today I thought maybe I need to give it a chance and see what happens......I got the same results. NBA Elite's gameplay is simply inferior to NBA 2K11.

I don't know have you answered or not, how can you make some post moves done, i just can't get it yet, thx.
Go into practice mode and practice the moves. Oddly enough you don't need a defender to work on the post moves just press the back down button and experiement.

Roll R-stick to the right or left for hooks.

Pull back on left stick and shoot for fadeaways

Hold left trigger and push left stick towards the direction the players is facing to do a two step jumper.

Hold left trigger and push left towards the opposite direction to a drop step.

And there's a couple more moves just go into practice mode and give them a try..

Re: NBA Elite 11 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (PS3, 360)

After playing this demo a little more, I still HATE it. I have played NBA Live for years now and I absolutely LOVE NBA Live 10.

The problem with Elite 11 is many.

Why take out the Turbo? That is ridiculous and a deal breaker for me.

Why change the controls? The new controls just don't work well enough in 5 on 5 and you cannot go back to NBA Live 10 controls.

Graphics - NBA Live 10 looks wayyyyyy better. Much better colors, detail, animations, etc. Elite 11 looks pretty bad.

Bottom line, I would not even buy Elite 11 for $30. It's a ruined game. They need to go back and build off of NBA Live 10.
