Damn, I love the Czar. He speaks for us 100% for real.

EDIT: This show needs to be longer. Great job though.

Czar speaks the truth, yet his words so far have felt on deaf ears with EA...

I disagree with with the comment on the controls not being fluid. The difference with this years game is that the user creates the fluidity, and that can only come with practice. The reason I'm enjoying Elite so much is because of the multiple elements of basketball it emulates, the need to put time in the practice gym being one of them. I've never had that necessity in any basketball game prior to Elite. The almost unlimited creativity is another element I enjoy. I'm loving the potential I see in this game, despite the glaring flaws.

As far as recreating the NBA experience, I think Elite still has at least another year to effectively do that. The signature styles aren't there; the animations sometimes look out of place; The skill set between different players is sometime questionable; The A.I. could definitely use some work; I'm sure there's more. But at least I feel like I'm playing real basketball with Elite's control system, and that's my biggest priority.

To quickly sum that up, I think that Elite nailed the feeling of having a basketball in your hands, but it lacks when trying to replicate the NBA.

Now, I do have one gripe about what I heard regarding the physics. No disrespect to Da Czar, but I'm not sure he really understands how the real time physics system works. The physics are there to trigger animations, which is why the game can look a little odd at times. For instance, the system will detect a collision between player A with a weight of (N1) and velocity of (v1) in (x1) direction, and player B with a weight of (N2) an velocity of (v2) in (x2) direction. Accordingly, animation "A" is triggered. The animation may not always match up to what we see visually, which creates unrealistic looking sequences. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this, but this is my understanding based on what I've read from the developers.

That was an amazing show! Only 1 hour long, I was hoping for so much more......Czar keeping it real and supporting the family.....

Keep it going! I love Chris's comment: NBA Elite was looking for a miracle, but got Jesus at half court.....I laughed my *** off....

from playing my old live games while playing that elite demo, it seems that RTP you guys are always defending was in NBA lives past games. you looking into it to much bro. playing the demo for 3 hours i saw nothing that resembled actual basketball. Physics cant be the only defense you have because in ELITE physics= contact animations from what we see in the vids and demo.

I thought the host could've done a better job given out more thoughts to what Czar saying than "I agree 100%" every time, but other than that I thought it was a good show and i'm happy Czar showed up and talked about alot of things concerning both games... Real basketball fans appreciate good basketball and Elite's producer is the NHL producer ... nuff said
