Will NBA Live 13 come out at all?

Tired of people saying "Its only July, they aren't going to show gameplay this early." How many game companies off the top of your head, refuse to show any gameplay whatsoever, 2 months before its release....

Yeah maybe, but there's a big difference between not all that and anything is better. I'll never understand some of you dudes. 2K most certainly has it's flaws, every game ever made so far and in the future will. However 2K is the closest video game representation of basketball that we have. If you loathe the game or will play anything just because it isn't 2K then I have to seriously question whether you know exactly what basketball is and is all about.

Agreed,Live has not come close to 2K for a very long time, and in that time 2K has continued to refine what a quality b ball game should look like,even casual fans can see how far the gap is. All that being said every year that a Live is announced i hold out a screrrick of hope that it would at least give me an alternative to play as it is greta to be spoilt for choice. Fingers crossed for this year.

EA just finished up their quarter. They should have an earnings announcement / call sometime later this month. If there is going to be bad news, that's when they will likely announce it. Look at when they canceled NBA Elite -- it was early November 2010 during their 3rd quarter earnings call. If they are going to scrap NBA Live 13, we should hear it with the 2nd Quarter earnings call / announcement. If not, then the game should be on track.
