With passing ALREADY mentioned as something they were working on and this tweet:

Seriously, there is nothing 2k HAS to steal from Live at this point. If anything Live needs to be studying 2k to figure out what they can steal. IJS...

If anything I think their trying to steal any spotlight or hope that Live can obtain. By doing the two above actions you just mentioned.

Mike Wang's twitter is very inactive, but when there speculation of Live having a physics engine came about, "all of a sudden" he tweets about a breakthrough in their physics engine.

And Kotaku wrote an article about Lives passing, then 4 days later Kotaku posts another article talking about 2k and Rob Jones mentioning how they've done so much to passing and he's gonna fight back. If your he's confident in the game just say the fans have nothing to worry about and kill it. But its like their had to be emphasis and a comeback.

I feel that if Live announced tomorrow that they've really went all out for the playbooks this year and overhauled them, 2k would come in and mention how playbooks have really been big for them this year, and they've done a great job.

This is probably the most assinine thing ive ever read on these forums to date. Sounds like something 22ced or gatorbait would type. Not to knock them in any manner, its just the similar to the way they type.

Youre saying all live 13 needs is good online and fundamentals for it to be a win, while 2k has to go back to the drawing board for next gen? Did I just read that?
Elites on court execution was on par with NBA Unrivaled.

Live 13 is recycled bits from past Live's with a few mods and anything new they might add, whats there to steal? I can understand being optimistic, but so far this game is so unproven, and what has been said thus far hasnt been flattering.

what happens if Live 13 doesnt sell well, will they scrap and start over yet again?

I wonder if we'll see a all-star weekend event or just the all-star game in NBA Live 13. Has anyone heard of anything or all-star weekend?

Whoa. Cape is too tight man.

No need to come at the other side. Defend your own game (the game you like) without taking digs at the competition.

Who cares who plays basketball?

A gamer doesn't have to play ball to know what jerky animations are.

Hoping just for solid fundamentals and good online experience is the exact reasons why next gen sports gaming has sucked for the most part. You're setting the bar too low and that's why consumers get these crap games year after year.

Reasons like this is what pisses me off. Don't you have some contact with EA? Tell them to raise the bar and that no...solid fundamentals and good online is a complete failure for a title that took one full year off without a release.

Hold them accountable man.

Well even recyclables can turn into something good, I just haven't seen any actual footage to turn me away from the game, so i'm going to be optimistic. If EA comes out and shows the game and the gameplay looks bad and the animations are off, then there goes that optimism until next year.

Why not be optimistic, if the game is bad it's not like EA is gonna get my money, but i feel like they know what's at stake. If Live 13 doesn't sell well they better start preparing for next gen, but if its solid they may have a bright future ahead, especially with the technology available to them.

These AC guys wont though, thats the problem which then leads to EA surveys asking what they like about the other game and other blah blah. Too many yes men/filet (no spine/backbone) guys that would really say whats worng with the game.

SimBaller didnt understand why Elites backlash got worse after the demo dropped. Not to knock the devs either. I though these EA devs eat sleep and breathe basketball. Why even round up gamers if they know basketball.

EA basketball has been in such a sad state it took a guy from 2k to make Live playable for 1 year, how sad is that?

I'm still maintaining a neutral stance at this point. I'm slightly optimistic, yet pessimistic. I don't know what to expect. At least it's good that they have b-ball heads making the game.

You guys get too deep and emotional over such a vague article. Y'all must have a soft spot for Live in your hearts. I don't remember the NBA series from 989 Sports ever receiving so much hate for being a bad game.
