I hope it isn't the case of Dynasty plays different then Tip Off games like CFM plays different then Exhibition games in Madden.

Honestly, I think it does. I normally find better competition in Dynasty. Who knows what else is different in this mode? Please try a quick Dynasty game and let us know about your experience.

Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?

Dynasty plays a little bit better in the way the CPU misses more shots compared to Tip Off games. And User shots will fall if you are wide open. However it seems like if a defender is within 5 feet of you, the chances of you making a shot is about 45%.

That contested shot thing seems be buggy.

This was called a contested shot in my Dynasty game. I couldn't believe it. In real life, Lebron, Steph Curry, Mike Miller, Damian Lilliard, Durant, and Harden would hit that all day, not in Live 15 though, brick after brick. So that made me go into the instant replay a hell of a lot after every contested shot and guarded shot. It seems to be regardless of how close or far away the defender is, if their arm is leaning towards you the game will call it a contested shot. But if their arms are straight up in the air or just at their sides, it will be called guarded shot.

EA needs to fix that. Your chances of making a shot shouldn't automatically take a penalty just because a defender is within 5 feet of you and his arm is leaning towards your direction. The only way your shot should be effected is if the defender is up in your grill, just inches away from you or at least 1 step away. Especially for superstars of the team.

CPU still pretty much get 90% of their points in the paint. That is their preferred method of scoring, other then 3's. No midrange game from them at all.

Thanks for posting that GotMad, provides a lot of insight on as to why those shot's are missing...and what I suspected.

Would love to pull off some of these step backs, nice looking shots off size ups...but it's not really worth it how it exists now...

They also need to tweak the A.I logic on how close they play you in the mid range area, as well as how they respond to jab steps....I probably drew 6-7 fouls off jump shots last night

Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?

Yeah pretty much all my fouls by the CPU comes from me driving to the hole and getting fouled on a layup attempt. It is the same way for the CPU when they attempt a layup. Not many fouls off jump shots. Do get 3 second in the key called on the CPU a couple of times a game.

But if I or the CPU never drive to the hole, I will probably only average 5 fouls per a game for myself and the CPU would never see the free throw line because I rarely foul them on jump shots. I don't think I ever saw the CPU called for a reach in foul because they very rarely attempt to steal the ball from you. Rarely see over the back called as well. Oh well, I am use to a lack of fouls called in EA Sports games because it is the common theme among all their sports games.

It is a shame really because the game looks good in ESPN camera. And I do love the walk up animation when you are walking the ball up the court. The game just have issues that makes me want to snap a controller in half. Haven't played today with the latest update so I don't know how it plays today. That is the weird thing about this game, they update on a daily basis and stuff changes everyday.

Still can't buy an outside or midrange shot.

You may have already however is your Shooting foul slider all the way up? I had to turn mine down pre patch because they were being called way too often. Reach in fouls are rare for the cpu though.

All my fouls been on 100 since day 1 release. That was the 1st thing I did when I got the game. Heck that is the 1st thing I do on every sports game I buy, max out all penalties.
