Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?

Finally got to sign into PSN. Got the latest synergy update and played the Lakers vs Bulls Christmas game.



Instead of fixing the User shooting, they made the CPU shooting just as bad. Some odd things happened in this game.

1. The point guards for both teams only subbed out ONCE the entire game on 12 minute quarters.

2. 3 of the Lakers starters only subbed out once the entire game.

I pretty much won the game by spamming the paint with Rose. Mid-range and 3pt shot attempts still miss too often when you are WIDE OPEN. There were a lot more shooting fouls on mid-range attempts though. Post shots hit a tad bit more often then it has all week. A lot of tip dunks this game, which I don't mind, but just something I noticed.

Lakers did the same 2 things the ENTIRE game:

1. Tried to drive to the hole with the PG.

OR

2. PG will dribble at the 3pt line for 10 seconds, then swing it to the shooting guard or small forward and they would immediately pass it to the Center who would attempt some funky looking post shot.

I can vouch... CPU AI seems to have taken a step backward. PG will sit and dribble the entire shot clock sometimes.

The A.I has taken a complete nosedive...not sure what happened.

You guys are scaring me with this news. I haven't been able to log into PSN network since yesterday so have not been able to update with Synergy since. I truly hope this is not the case. WTF can you confirm and has this been brought to your attention? Anyone else experience the same?

I can't confirm. My last games showed awesome movement, but that could have changed. I captured some nice plays by the cpu that I hadn't seen, but again, it seems like all of that can change by a simple update from Synergy.

I've been seeing a lot pg passes to SG who then dumps it to the big man. It seems like they are always running the simple post up plays.

Oh boy! I also feel like the cpu is playing quite well at present with some wonderful plays and don't want to risk any regression. Waiting for further confirmation from others ( I'm assuming those with latest Synergy updates are on Xb1 since PSN network is still down). I will not be updating with Synergy even if server comes back up if this becomes the chorus around here.

Yep, the Mav's exclusively went to this with Tyson Chandler in my last game...we're back to square one with Tyson Chandler post ups, lol

Going to upload the game in full once the servers are back up. Superstar/8 minute quarters and the Mav's had 6 shots outside of the paint...

Ended up winning easily but you'll also see the insane amount of shots I missed wide open/green release with TP from mid range as he Mavs continually went with the screener...
