2k produces: NBA & College Football

EA:NHL. EA keeps Madden (only to see a college game trounced that a55) and for sake of having a hoops game NCAA hoops

Not right away, assuming the football game would be far superior it would take approximately a decade for any other NFL game to outsell Madden. Its not about how good a game is, its all about the name and reputation. Even though another football game could be better Madden has a more popular name and more money for marketing.

your saying 2k wont put up marketing money like madden does... lol. 2k didnt earn 99% of the basketball video game market just off gameplay and modes. They got it by using celebrites to promote it, national tv ads, and all the money they use to promote on social media. There is no way it would take 10 yrs especially since Madden sales are a fraction of what they were in 2004. People are apparently going elsewhere with their money than with EA because Madden doesnt cut it for the millions that used to buy football games. Im sure the millions who stopped buying Madden would buy another NFL game if it was a better game with more effort put into it than what EA does now especially if it came from 2k.

NBA live should of done what many posters at OS wanted them to do for the longest and that was to hire the best minds of OS before the competition had the opportunity to come snatch all those guys up. Those guys at least could of been great beta-testers for the game on top of the ideas they would've offered.

They allowed their own community to become a ghost town due to lack of communication comparable to the competition and not honoring OS posters wishes.

Just for example read my posts in the competition wishlist thread for 2017, alot of the ideas I posted 2k already has from the OS posters they hired. All I did was a little Copy and Paste from their post history and better believe all those ideas will make it in game eventually.

Moving forward I suggest you build a better relationship with the community who are the eyes and ears of the market share you want and honor their wishes

2K has built up a ton of reputation with NBA (look at the massive sales for 2K16), and NFL 2K5 is widely regarded as the best football game EVER to this day.

Games would be flying off shelves.

I feel bad for the Live fans, but clearly this will be the last one for a LONG time. I don't see a return on PS4 or Xbox One at this point.
