But if he was to be traded to L.A, rumors had it on ClubLakers.com that he and Wally would be traded for Odom, Butler, Atkins and some draft picks. Im not sure if that was the rumor but the Lakers would've raped the Wolves if that deal went through.
I didn't think you were too serious, lol. You are correct though, the Wolves would be getting raped. That would be a horrible trade.

I was reading the Star Tribune. All the writers seemed to think he was the best choice. They say he is big into discipline and really just wants a shot to prove he can be a great coach.

Re: Official Minnesota Timberwolves Thread

Im not sure what to think about this. I dont mind that he doesnt have any experience but I dont like that McHale said at the beginning of the coaching search that he was going to bring in a coach with experience etc... Also, part of me thinks they hired him because he was the cheapest candidate because they still have to pay Flip's contract until he finds a new team. If this is true then I think we are headed down the wrong track here. I hope he is a good defensive coach because we really need to get better on D if we hope to contend at all.

He made a comment about liking the sonics upbeat offense but he said he is a more defensive oriented coach

I personally found the McCants pick to be a bit weird considering he seems to have a lot of the same attitude that Spree does. IMO the pick wouldve been Warrick had Fred Hoiberg not just had heart surgery. I dont think there is any chance of seeing Latrell in a T-Wolves uni anytime soon and keeping Sam wouldnt bother me too much. I dont expect any major move/addition to be made however.
