This is why Dallas needs Finley. Games like tonight and against Houston on the road when teams come hard at Dirk then Finley puts the dagger in their hearts. He's by far the Mavs best perimeter shooter and he's knocking down 3's like crazy.

he is money, but he's still overpaid. But if you factor in that it's Cubes money, it's all good.

Man Terry, Dampier, Howard and Stackhouse are really starting to turn it on now in their new roles and the Mavs are looking very good now. They were solid on the road but kinda suspect at home before Terry was inserted into the starting lineup now they are taking off. With Minnesota struggling I believe Dallas with most of their guys getting healthy and adjusted to each other will be the Spurs toghest test come April or May.

Howard has been amazing this year.

And Dirk started really slow, but all of a sudden, he had his 20+ for the night. They look like they're starting to get it.

And Kobe led the Lakers in Minutes/Turnovers/Points & Rapes.

Thinking about it, I wish I hadn't mentioned rapes in my previous post, cause that joke would have been a little bit more funny.

Big game tonight on NBATV the Heat pay a visit to Dallas. The Mavs should finally be back at full strength with Howard and Daniels returning tonight. They did blast Miami back in November on the road. Dirk racked up 41 points that game. I expect the Heat to stick around for 3 qtr's but Dallas will pull away later because they are much deeper.

Outstanding win for Dallas tonight. They really showed why they are much better defensively this year when Damps, Howard and Daniels are all healthy and in the lineup together. Here's a stat to look at Dallas is 25-0 when leading after 3 qtr's that is insane.
