1. It was ridiculous to risk injury.
2. Either play him or don’t play him.

Was a real head-scratcher especially since they said Obi really hadn’t had a full practice in.

Injuries aside, these guys shouldn’t be playing 38+ minutes especially when RJ has been playing so poorly.

Everyone hates their coaches rotations so this isn’t just our issue. But Elfrid won’t be around next year. Sit him. When he’s out there we are playing 4-on-5.

You invested in Knox AND he’s playing the best ball of his career. Play him.

This isn’t rocket science.

Thibs' rotations are a mess but we are down Burks, Bullock, and Frank though I doubt the tiger will change his stripes.

Enough of this falls on the FO, as I've said they gave Thibs a horrendous, ill-fitting roster. We are playing huge chunks of the game with one-shooter lineups. Hell, our starting lineup is a one-shooter lineup.

The entire Toppin situation is ridiculous. I figured Thibs to be above that sort of nonsense.

It is no coincidence that in short bursts our offense looks better with Knox and Quickley on the floor.

Playing our starters the entire 4th quarter while being down big is frustrating, but then Thibs sees the fool's gold of cutting a huge lead to 5 points in the waning seconds (after the Nets had long taken their foot off the gas) so he'll continue to play RJ and Randle huge minutes even if we're down 20 in the fourth quarter.

Payton, I've said my piece many times. He never should have been brought back. Start Quickley and if Frank could stop being made of glass, that'd be great. I would rather deal with hate-watching DSJ than watching Payton.

Embarrassing loss and some of the worst late game basketball I've ever seen.

Losing to a team that started Dotson at the point.

Our 22 y/o lotto pick can't get double-digit minutes. Bullock is back, being mostly invisible while getting 30 minutes (I know his D is solid).

Quickley looked good. Barrett shot well from the field despite his disastrous final minute.

For a coaching staff who said they are focused on analytics, all of the analytics point to IQ being more valuable than Elfrid.

What gives? He’s Scott Perry’s boy but come on.

Nice to see Toppin have his first good game. Quickley continued his excellent play.

I lol'd when we were up 25 with 8 min left the 4th and Thibs brought Randle back in, knowing we have a noon game today.

I've mentioned it, but that's a piece of coach-speak I can't stand as it only seems to apply to rookies: "We're going to play the guys who give us the best chance to win." Unless you're a terrible vet who'll be here for a year or two, then you'll have a longer leash.
