NCAA 2004 Football Rosters - PS2 - blacklover

WELL ITS OFFICIAL GOT THE ROSTERS AFTER I GOT DONE WITH THE XPORT SOFTWARE POPPED IN NCAA WAITING IN ANTICIPATION TO SEE IF I DID IT RIGHT AND HOPING WENT TO QUICK PLAY JUST PUSH START HOPING AND PREYING THAT I DID IT RIGHT SPED THROUGH THE COIN TOSS AND TO MY JOY BIG SMILE LIT UP ON MY FACE AS I SAW THE NAMES OF THE 2 KICK OFF RETURNERS FOR MIAMI!!!!Same thing that happened to sach happened to me i was messin around tryin to do the connection between the ps2 with the pc and then a little message came up sayin new hardware detected and it was cake from there. Just want to give much love to blacklover good lookin out man you really makin alot people happy on these forums by what you doin keep doin your thing man really appreciate it

You're haviung a USB error?

First, what version of the software are you using? If it's version 2 or greater, you should be OK.

Then, you need to follow the correct order:
First, you should have the PC software installed.
Then start the PC software up from your Start Menu.
Then connect the USB cable between the machines.
Then start up the PS2 with the Sharkport PS2 Boot Disk.

Having some trouble. I get the file downloaded, and the usb connection is fine, but I'm getting an error message that reads "can't open game-save file" and then gives the name of the download file.

Any thoughts?

I'm willing to bet that the driver for the sharkport wasn't installed. I had the same situation with my X-Port. I ran the setup disk and it seemed to work ok but it didn't actually install drivers. Had to go to device mgr, clicked on the "unknown USB device" and went to "install driver". I directed it to the drive with the setup CD inserted. It found and installed the driver and everything went fine.

I think my sharkport has gone bad. I have tried on 3 different computers with the same result. I did what you said, it found the device but I still get the error USB error connecting to PS2!
