Too bad the other guy can't seem to comprehend it....it's as clear as day awareness is the # rating in this game for QB's espeically offline when facing a Human player

I can create a QB with 80 throwing power in this game and he'll eat that dudes defense up alive if i give him 99 awareness and 99 accuarcy.....he'll cut up defenses on ding and dunk plays all game

The reason why most people don't see these types of QB's in NCAA is because EA doesn't rate them to behave that way in games. There are ratings in this game that can make QB's actually break containment more and run out of shot gun if you wanted them to

Overrated:

AJ McCarron
Greg McElroy
Nathan Stanley
Zac Brindise
Andrew Clifford

Underrated:
Cameron Newton’s Arm
Ryan Mallet’s Arm
You must be an Auburn fan....

Greg McElroy is a winner, point blank he just wins ball games and is really accurate.

AJ McCarron looked very very good in the spring game and is widely considered better than Greg McElroy.

Nathan Stanley is about right if anything he should have higher THP ... he has a really nice arm. especially great touch on the deep ball.

I don't see how you think Cam Newton's arm is underrated he has terrible Accuracy.

Ryan Mallet doesnt have great mid-range accuracy.

Those two SC qbs should be rated in the low 70's if that.
Connor Shaw looks like he is pretty good and deserves around a 76 or 77

He didn't win ball games, their defense did. He just kept from turning the ball over or doing things to lose games. Not a knock on him, because he didn't need to go out and win ball games and put the team on his back.

Alabama's defense was insane last year, and kept teams to 10 or fewer points half of their games. You don't need much of an offense with a defense like that.

Alabama was a team with an above average to good offense and the nations best defense.

A lot of QBs could have done what McElroy did on a team like that.

I'm an unbiased football fan with a slight lean toward the Gators.

Ok, with Newton and Mallet, I should have specified arm strength. Mallet has one of the best arms of the past 10 years (maybe Jamarcus, Stafford or Cutler comparable). I think he should be a 98. I agree, he shows Jamarcus-like mid range touch.

McElroy is just a winner, so which rating should we boost for that? Would his "winnerness" work at Vandy? The point of ratings is to get a player to play as they do in real life. McElroy could be an 80 OVR and still keep his winnerdom with that defense and surrounding offensive talent. Just because he has talent around him doesn't mean his ratings should get a boost.

I'll take your word on the Ole Miss guys, but roster suggestions here usually have a ton of homerism attached.

maybe its do to being able to run past everyone, but i havent seen the great moves out of jeff demps to justify being elite in almost all of the "moves" categories.

Good point, there is no way to see smartness in football. Especially the QB. Smartness never shows with QBs.
