Re: Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

Carson is anyone going to do hometowns? If not set up already maybe we could get certain people to do conferences. I am willing to do a conference or 2. (Maybe SEC because I know that best.) But if people don't care enough about hometowns then we don't have to do it. Just getting your idea on the matter.

Re: Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

Hawai'i Edits

These are all edits. I will post up depth chart here shortly and add in equipment changes into the other "official" equipment edit thread as well.

QB
No changes

RB
Alex Green - Change # from 24 to 25.

FB
No changes

WR
Bubba Pouea Luna - Change last name to Poueu Luna. Ran a 21.64 200m so speed should be in the 87-89 range. Was a HS QB so should have some throwing attributes as he threw for 1,700 yards as a senior. I'm thinking somewhere in the 60's for THP and THA.

Rodney Bradley - Should be from Texas (Corsicana) not California.

Dustin Blount - Change to WR Ryan Henry. 5'9 170 Dark skin tone from Los Angeles, CA. He is the primary PR guy at Hawai'i and Played in all 14 games last year, Blount played in 4. Ratings are good, maybe bump up Return rating into high 80's. Everything else looks good.

Jeremiah Ostrowski - very limited time. I would change him to WR Royce Polard. 6'0" 175 RS JR from San Diego, CA #81. Has a medium skin tone. Pollard was a starting WR in the spring and has earned 2 letters for Hawai'i. Started 4 games last year. I would bump him to the 72-74 range as he will be the 4th or 5th WR for the Warriors. He also returns kicks for them so bump his return rating to the 80's and upgrade SPD/AGI/ACC into the 85-88 range.

Jett Jasper - Class should be changed to RS JR

TE
*Note - Hawai'i does not use a TE. they have none listed on their roster*

Darius Bright - Change Position to WR. This will make him come in as a 67 overall which is just about perfect for a 3 star JC guy.

Frank Lloyd - Change last name to Loyd. Change position to LG. Drop speed into the high 40's, low 50's. Raise strength and blocking stats to be similar to other 2 star OL. Is a better pass blocker than run blocker.

LT
Layton Laurel - Change first name to Clayton. Rated a bit too high. Was the backup LT throughout spring. Should probably be in the 71-73 range overall.

Brett Leonard - Change position to LG. Was the starter there for spring. Change class to RS Jr. Should be raised into the 74-76 range overall since he will be the starter at LG.

LG
Andrew Faaumu - Was the 2nd string LG for spring. Should be dropped to around a 69-71 overall.

Brysen Ginlack - Change position to RG, he was the 2nd string RG this spring. Raise weight to 320.

C
Bronson Tiwanak - Second string C through spring. I would drop him into the 70-71 range overall

Levi Legay - Change position to RT. Was 2nd string there this spring. Change Class to RS SO.

RG
Matagisila Lefiti - Change position to Center. Was the starting center for spring.

RT
Austin Hansen - Change position to LT, was the starter there this spring.

Kainoa LaCount - Will be the starter at RT so needs a rating boost into the 72-74 range. Change class to RS SR

Adrian Thomas - Change position to RG, was the starter there this spring. Change weight to 310. Could use a ratings boost into the 71-73 range since he will be the starter.

LE
Elliot Purcell - Change first name to Elliott. Change weight to 255.

Calen Friel - Change position to RE

RE
Alema Tachibana - Change class to RS FR. Was a LB so I would raise speed to the 74-76 range and lower strength to 70-72 range.

Liko Satele - Change # from 25 to 98. Move to LE. Change weight to 260. Change state to Hawai'i (Honolulu) instead of California. Change Class to RS JR. Was second string LE throughout spring so should be in the 65-67 range.

DT
Geordon Hanohano - Change hieght to 6'1" and weight to 305.

Ryan Eastman - No longer on team. Change to DT Kaniela Tuipulotu. 6'2" 300 RS JR #49 from Hawai'i. Saw playing time as a freshman at Arizona and was starter as a sophomore. Raise strength into the low 80's and have him come in around a 71-73 overall. Was the backup nose this spring.

David Hafoka - Change class to RS JR.

LOLB
Mano Lolatai - Change to MLB - Change first name to Mana. Change class to SR. I would lower him to the 72-74 range overall. Will be the backup MLB.

Art Laurel - Change height to 6'0"

Joseph Malabuyoc - Squad member. Change to LOLB Aaron Brown. 6'1" 205 RS JR from Puyallup, Washington #24. Was the starter at Stub LB this spring. Brown was a Safety at Saddleback CC so he should be a fast (85-87) LB with good acceleration (85-87). His strength at 65 is about perfect. I would raise his tackling into the 78-80 range. I would raise pursuit into the low 80's as well. Play recognition shoudl be in the low 70's. He should be a better cover guy than most LB's, somewhere in the high 60's, low 70's should suffice. Should come in around a 73-75 overall.

Tim Brown - No longer on team. Change to LOLB TJ Taimatuia 6'4" 225 FR from Lakewood, CA. Was a 3 star rivals guy so adjust ratings accordingly. Broad scope is a 4.7 guy, stronger not fast LB. His skin tone needs to be changes to the Hawaiian one as well.

MLB
Joey Iosefa - Squad member who plays Rb. Should be changed to Tuu Lolohea 6'1" 225 LB from Kapolei, HI #45. 3 star rivals and 2 star scout.com guy. Leave ratings as is.

Zachary Quines - Change # to 54

Ipulasi Esulu - Will be playing DE. Instead of switching positions, I would instead replace him with MLB Dustin Elisera 6'2' 225 from Kapolei, Hawaii. He was a US Army AA bowl participant and was a 3 star recruit by rivals. Here are his vitals, 40: 4.62 secs, Bench Max: 315, Squat Max: 425, Shuttle: 4.21, Vertical: 34 inches.

ROLB
Corey Paredes - Change weight to 230

George Daily Lyles - Change # to 55

CB
Lametrius Davis - Change weight to 190

Tank Hopkins - Change skin tone to Dark

Kawika Ornellas - Change skin tone to Dark

Lewis Walker - Change skin tone to Dark

FS
No Changes

SS
Aulola Tonga - No longer on team. Change to Marcus Umu - SS 6'0" 192 from Hawai'i. He is less physical than Tonga and a 2 star prospect by rivals and scout. I would drop ratings to low 50's probably

K
Scott Enos - Change Grad year to SR

P
No changes

I'll post more corrections later, but for now:

QB Dayne Crist should be a RS Soph
RB Cierre Wood should be RS Fresh
OG Chris Watt should be RS Fresh
OT Zack Martin should be RS Fresh
DT Tyler Stockton should be RS Fresh
DT Sean Cwynar is set at 2nd string, not last on the depth chart
DT Hafis Williams has been moved to DE
CB Darrin Walls is a starter, while Robert Blanton is 3rd string

Now for the subjective part (this is just my educated opinion):

I think...
QB Dayne Crist should be bumped up to 86
RB Cierre Wood should be bumped up to 79
OG Christian Lombard should be bumped up to 74
DE Ethan Johnson should be bumped up to 87
OLB Darius Fleming should be bumped up to 85
CB Darrin Walls should be bumped up to 83

QB Nate Montana should be bumped down to 70
RB Armando Allen should be bumped down to 86
WR Shaq Evans should be bumped down to 76
CB Robert Blanton should be bumped down to 82
OLB Brian Smith should be bumped down to 84

I'm an alumni as well, I've watched all the home games past 3 years at South Bend plus all the away games on TV. Also have read every single ND preview, article, message board, etc. I think the overall ratings you've done are great and pretty damn accurate.

+1. I've done my own rosters nearly every year based on someone else's work and can tell you that it is a huge time drain. These guys are making sacrifices out of their lives to get this done, so be appreciative.

Remember that you can always download their file and continue the work on your own if you are not satisfied with the pace or the changes.
