For now, I hope these step by step details will help. I will also upload the config file for the profile that you will need to use in order to edit your profile, which was provided to me by Tdawg.

ITEMS/PROGRAMS NEEDED FOR USE OF THE EDITOR:

1. USB Flash Drive
2. Bruteforce program
3. Generic Editor or Dynasty Editor (I use the Generic Editor for the profile edits which makes it much easier)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE PS3 EDITOR:

1. Insert your USB Flash Drive into your PS3. Go to your game data utility and locate your file of choice (I will use the profile for example since many have had problems with this). Make a copy of your profile save and save it to your USB Flash Drive.

2. Once your have your save onto the Flash Drive, you can remove the Flash Drive and insert it into your computer.

3. Open up BruteForce

4. Open up the file that is on your USB Flash Drive (it should read "PS3"). Inside of this file you should have a file that starts with BLUS-something something. You want to drag this file over into BruteForce into the first field.

5. Once you have done this, double click the file in BruteForce that you just transferred here. It should ask if you want to update the param.sfo with the profile. Click yes.

6. Once this is done, go down to where it says decrypt files and click this. Click decrypt all files. It will ask you if you want to decrypt the files. Hit yes. When the files are decrypted, the field on the bottom left should turn green.

7. You can now minimize BruteForce (you can close it but it's better to leave it minimized because you will be using it again).

8.Open up the Generic Editor. Upon opening it, you need to load the config file that I have provided along with this step by step instruction. To do this, you simply click File and Load Config. Locate the config file that I have provided (which will be wherever you saved it to on your hard drive) and open it. This should display the fields within the editor.

9. Within the editor you will click File and Open. This is where you need to go back to your profile save that is now decrypted and open the data file.

10. I once thought you had to convert this to an .mc02 file, but you do not. Just open the data file (which should be the last file that is within the BLUS-Profile file).

11. Once opened, you should see a bunch of numbers under the named fields.

12. To edit a field, simply double click the field where the number is that you want to edit. Delete the number that you want to edit and then type in the number you would like to replace it with. Once you have the number in, simply click off the field. The number should stick.

13. Once you have everything edited that you would like to edit, you will need to save within the editor before closing.

14. Once you close the editor, bring your BruteForce window back up. Hit refresh a couple of times. Double click the file within BruteForce. It may prompt you and ask if you want to encrypt the files. Click yes. If it does not prompt you to this, make sure the file is highlighted and click encrypt files at the bottom. Click encrypt all files. Once the files are encrypted, it should go from green back to normal. You have now successfully used the editor.

15. You can now remove your Flash Drive (make sure to eject it on the computer, just to make sure you don't corrupt something).

16. Insert the Flash Drive back into your PS3 and copy the now edited profile save. It will ask you that the save contains a file with the same name, would you like to overwrite. click yes. It will ask about the overwrite again. Click yes.

17. You should now be able to load your game up with your now edited profile.

Sounds like a lot, right? I know it seems overwhelming when reading it here, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze! I hope this will help you guys and if it doesn't that's ok, as I plan on making a video tutorial on using this, but idk when I will be able to yet.
Followed this guide up to step 11. All of the tabs are four-letter words such as 'GOPT', 'GRGM', etc. How am I to know which tab does what?

What's the main advantage of using the roster editor as opposed to downloading others' rosters from the server?

Are you talking about getting rosters directly from 2K Share? Well, if so, they may or may not have been edited with the editor. If you get a roster file from here on the forums most likely it's had some sort of editing done with the editor. If you get a roster file from 2K Share then it may or may not have been edited with the editor. The roster editor allows way more things to be done than straight from the game itself.

No, I meant for NCAA 14. I've seen roster files shared specifically for use in the editor, and I just wasn't sure of the difference between that and just downloading rosters from someone's EA locker. I'm just now discovering all of the modification options for the game and curious about the advantages.

I'm sorry! I meant getting files online & not from 2K Share. That's for NBA 2K14 files. We can do a lot of things with the editor. Equipment edits that we can't do from the game. Changing impact players which we can't from the game. Adding manual injuries which we can't do from the game. Changing the schedule from a dynasty file. These are just some of the things we can do. There are quite a few other things as well. Thanks!

Oh, okay. Thanks for the reply. I had no idea something like that could change equipment. It would be awesome if someone made a schedule for 2014-2015 that could be added to the 2nd year of my dynasty.

Re: NCAA Roster Editor **PS3**

Does anyone know which value you change to alter your team's "Impact Players" - they're the ones that show up with a star on the field.

I seem to remember doing it for NCAA 13, but I'm not sure where in the Editor it is?
