We only really control the roster, changes to the mechanics are from the CFBReavmped team themselves but I can try and answer some of your questions through the lens of a roster editor. 1. I would say it's kind of both. Obviously a higher rating typically means better coach. The most prominent meaning behind the rating is that higher rating = more abilities unlocked and those abilities can affect certain player ratings. These effects can be seen on the coach skill tree page in-game. My understanding that the changes made by the CFBRevamped team are text-only and don't necessarily change anything else from base game (i.e. Saban Factor is the exact same thing as Insta-Commit apart from the text description). 2. Can't answer that. This was a change by CFBrevamped that the roster doesn't really have any control over. There should be a playbook-editor-support thread in the CFBR Discord that might be able to give more info. 3. My understanding is that the new plays aren't apart of the current in-game playbooks but are available as a choice for custom playbooks. Some of the playcalling logic was changed by the CFBRevamped team which would affect what types of situations plays are called in for the in-game playbooks (like you said, more of the playbook is unlocked in more situations) but this is not something controlled by the roster. Not 100% on this so again you might have to ask the Discord. 4. Not something controlled by the roster. My guess would be its very unlikely that a modular approach would be taken.
