Re: J-Unit40's All-American Sliders (Post-Patch)

Well, I can finally say it... I am dissapointed again with the CPU running game. I have also dropped the hum run D slider to 10 and the cpu is still struggling to run consistent. Yes, I have seen 100+ yard games BUT there is usually one long run that gives the bulk of yards. I played New Mexico State last night and the cpu had 39 rushes for -51 yars (no, I'm not kidding they had negative 51 yards!!!!). That was with the hum run D at 25. I have since lowered it to 10. Unless you are playing an elite team the run game is yet again insufficient

Still really enjoying the game though but I am looking forwrd to seeing how running works in Madden!

Running does suck, so I tried something that will lower my manhood. I tried some tough sliders on varisty. Save the laughs please. The CPU is actually able to run in a non chessy way and no robo QB. I'm winning on AA and Heisman, so why not win with good game play ( Lower teams getting beat like they should and team on par giving you a game or even beating you) How are guys having the kickoff issues? Have had 1 run back on me in 20.. Bump up CPU kickoff and that should stop the 1 a game runbacks..

What are those varsity sliders you are trying. I have not been seeing good teams beat bad and so forth. I have a pancake team and we steam roll every team. I dont exploit or money play or anything. I just dont see the better teams being dominate.

Re: J-Unit40's All-American Sliders (Post-Patch)

After days of tinkering based on J-Unit and Trinity I have FINALLY finalized my sliders for a quality A.A. 8 min quarter game. They are a lot different from where I started but feel free to try them out. This was what I used for my last game. I was Arizona St and I got owned by the Ducks 30-12. That is my worst loss since 06!!! It was 12-9 at the half for me and then their offense took over and my defense had no answer.

HUM/CPU

OFFENSE:
QB Acc 40/40
Pass block 50/10
WR 45/45
RB ab. 50/60
Run block 50/50

* pass completion % is on avg between 54-61%
* avg. about 3-7 drops per game per team
* cpu running is improved /run blocking is excellent

DEFENSE:

Pass cov. 65/60
Pass rush 100/55
Int 20/10
Rush D 10/40
Tackling 50/50

* the cpu gets amazing pressure when blitzing
* the cpu gets fair pressure when rushing four
* HUM~ 2-4 sacks per game on avg.
* CPU 3-6 sacks per game
* HUM rushing is fair
* cpu rushing avg is about 81 yards for the starting HB
* PICS~ 1-2 each game (both teams combined)

SPECIAL TEAMS:

50 FG
50 FG ACC
60 PUNTING
60 PUNTING ACC
65 KICKOFFS

I'm sure I could try to continue to tinker with these sliders but I think my wife will kill me so these are how they will stay for me until patch 2. Thanks again to J-Unit and Trinity for sharing their sliders. Greatly appreciated guys!!!

How many plays is everyone getting between you and the CPU at 9 minutes per quarter? I am anywhere from 125-140, is this an average?

Yes. That is exactly where you want to be. That's why I chose 9 minutes instead of 8 minutes. You could actually use 8 minutes if you picked your plays very quickly and quicksnapped the ball everytime or if you were a pass happy squad.
