CFRMIC$'s All-American Post-Patch Sliders

Creator's Note: These Sliders work on ALL SYSTEMS!

I had been playing NCAA 11 for a while with the default sliders, but the game didn't play realistic so I went on here looking for ones that I felt were more realistic. I tried FistofRages', SECElite's, Salutations, and Playmakers sliders and I came to the conclusion I would use Salutations as my base sliders based on the excellent stats it was producing in practice and exhibition mode. I then decided to tweak the sliders so teams like Auburn, Oregon, and others could run their realistic offenses and playing with the stars would feel like playing with the stars. Also, scrubs will play like scrubs with these sliders and you won't get the "Robo-QB" effect. These sliders I created also gave me realistic completion percentages, ypc averages, and T.O.P equality as well based on the team's playing style. I use Luvtotha9's PS3 rosters with these sliders btw. I have played at least 20-25 games and have had little happen that had me thinking "This would never happen in real life". Anyways, without further rambling...Here are my NCAA 11 Sliders...

Skill|All-American
Quarter Length|7-9 minutes
Game Speed|Normal
Player Min Speed Threshold|10
Home Field Advantage|On
Ice the Kicker|On

Offsides|45
False Start|55
Holding|50
FaceMask|50
Offensive Pass Interference|100
Defensive Pass Interference|100
KR/PR Interference|75
Clipping|50
Intentional Grounding|50
Roughing the Passer|100
Roughing the Kicker|100

User|Slider|CPU
30|QB Accuracy|15
100|Pass Blocking|35
50|WR Catching|45
55|RB Ability|70
55|Run Blocking|55
60|Pass Coverage|50
40|Pass Rush|10
20|Interceptions|20
25|Rush Defense|45
70|Tackling|55
25|FG Power|25
50|FG Accuracy|60
25|Punt Power|50
50|Punt Accuracy|100
25|Kickoff Power|25

Thanks to all who influenced and helped create these sliders. Also, I would like to add that the CPU pass rush of 10 is perfect because it creates beautiful football logic. For example, when the CPU rushes 3 they have a tough time getting to the QB because it is 5 blocking 3. Then, if the CPU blitzes 7 they have a greater chance of getting past because 7>5. As for the CPU RB ability, 70 is the best setting because they will run straight an open hole, but they will not break 6 tackles in the process of doing it which is why Salutations RB ability of 100 made little sense to me. Sure, the RB's run to the hole on that setting, but after they get there they break every tackle after getting past the hole.

Thank CeeJay and SECElite for the Sub in/Sub Out Sliders!

Pos. In/Out

QB 75/60
RB 85/80
WR 85/80
FB 85/80
OL 75/60
DT 85/80
DE 85/75
LB 85/80
CB 80/65
S 80/65

Recent update details, also on Page 4 for those interested...

I improved computer run defense by 5 points which leads to increases awareness and logic. You still get the same run results, but it looks better doing it. I also decreased QB accuracy as a found many User QB's who are rated under 90 are performing things that would lead many to believe they were rated in the 90-91 range. This drop from 35 to 30 finally leads QB's to play like their rating says they will. Also, I increased CPU FG accuracy as I found them missing 38 yarders and above around 35% of the time. In addition, I increased USER RB ability to 55 so these running backs will play more like they're superstars and vice-versa. I also decided to decrease User pass coverage to 60 as I found the User was jumping a little too many routes. Also, I toned down interceptions 5 points for both sides so there will be more realistic totals. In addition, I would like to thank all those who have tried my sliders and used them as you inspire me to create a better and more realistic game.

If you have any questions or comments please reply accordingly thanks again OS users!

well im finding it a little to easy with this set after one game, i will try one more, i did like the way the offense played and the o line but still a little easy for me but i may stick with these and make some tweaks.

I am thinking about turning up CPU run defense and lowering user run blocking rating.

Thanks for the info. I am considering similar changes, but for now I am leaving as is until more testing.
