Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

Everything played great however I agree with Hova. I am tweaking the hum running game as it was brutal for three quarters (lost to UF 35-20). I was down 28-10 at the half so I played much better in the second half.

The Gators hit 2 bombs on me. They ran the ball decent. Their defense was awesome for 3 quarters until I finally started moving the ball.

I am going to try to dial down the cpu rush defense to 90 and see how that feels.

The only other tweak I will try is dialing up hum kick accuracy by 5. Kicking was a tad too tough for my skill on the stick.

Well done SN!!!!!

Are penalty sliders worthless again this year? Mainly offensive and defensive pass interference.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

I have yet to see in 4 games any OPI or DPI. However the cpu got slammed with 2 key roughing the passer penelties! I have seen holding, clipping, face mask, and false starts.

With PI you can't control the DB...let the cpu. I use the no switch rule on defense. If you read the slider it controls the cpu players chances of commiting the penelty not the humans.

Anyway I have a feeling SN's sliders are again going to be my base of choice.

Notes
-The 42% completion is me more then anything else. I haven't figured this game's zone defense out yet, lol.

-5 Roughing the passer calls. 1 on fourth down, 1 as time expired in the half that let PSU kick a FG with no time left in the half.

-The CPU knows how to run the option. Finally.

-I missed a PAT . I was lazy and just swung and kicked without thinking. After all these years, it finally cost me.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

Just played my first game with these, a battle of the rush offenses, BC @ VT. I was BC. I dunno how to do the fancy tables, so work with me a bit.

1st- BC 7 VT 3
2nd- BC 7 VT 0
3rd- BC 7 VT 3
4th- BC 0 VT 7
Final- BC 21 VT 13

Boston College-

Passing:
Chase Rettig 3-5 50 yards Long 26

Rushing:
Montel Harris 32 Carries for 129 yards 1 TD Long: 20 63 Yards after first hit
Andre Williams 6 Carries for 60 yards 2 TD Long: 43 (Wildcat read option)
Chase Rettig 4 Carries for -7 yards (One carry for one yard, three kneel downs for -8)

Kicking:
Nate Freese 0-1 (45 yards in the rain) 3-3 XP

Punting:
Ryan Quigley 4 punts 167 yards 41.7 avg

Virginia Tech-

Passing:
Logan Thomas 9-16 168 yards 1 TD Long 77

Rushing:
David Wilson 13 Carries 51 yards Long 17 36 yards after first hit
Logan Thomas 10 Carries -16 yards Long 12 (Made a few good scrambles, but got sacked quite a few times)
Josh Oglesby 1 Carry 2 yards

Kicking:
Justin Myer 2-2 (Long 46) 1-1 XP

Punting:
Scott Delmer 4 punts 166 yards 41.5 avg

Thoughts:
-Got a decent run game going in the first half and put some points on the board, VT adjusted and shut me down in the second half, but it was too late.

-VT seemed to run well on their first drive then couldn't get anything going on the ground the rest of the game. I dunno if this is my defense pinching down or the first drive being out of place, but it was interesting.

- User D seems a bit strong, I felt like despite BC having a really good defense they should have put up more than two field goals (and an 80 yard TD pass)

- I dunno what the VT kicker's ratings are, but he looked like he could nail them from 60 in the rain. They were both dead center with way more than enough distance despite the weather.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

Just finished a game with these, not bad. And I'll also agree with Nova as I was at home with Oregon against Washington St. and was only able to pull off one juke with James, every other time he was stopped dead by a rather poor defense. Also the CPU pass rush needs to be tuned down I think as I was sacked EVERY single time I tried a HB screen. The HUM pass rush probably needs to come down too as I sacked Tuel 9 times.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

Thanks for some suggestions and game recaps. I made some recommended adjustments, but I am still testing out some more.

I should be close on Version 1.0.

I PLAYED AS KANSAS

First game with these sliders I felt it played pretty well. Iowa State didn't have much success at all on the ground and their only notable offensive play with a 75 yard TD pass before the half ended and it was because of my mistake.
