Re: S.O.S. Sliders (All-American)

Played my bowl game against Iowa State (8-4). I didn't change up their offensive playbook and I feel like I cheated. They were absolutely terrible and tried to run stupid *** plays all game.

Not many of their plays are on display, but trust me, it felt cheap. If it was a big game I would've restarted and assigned them a CPB.

The difference is so dramatic I can't put it into words

Well, iowa state isnt good at all if it makes you feel any better. If you were to assign em a custom playbook, which would you assign em?

I would assign them a playbook that fits with their original one. I just cut out the BS plays

Re: S.O.S. Sliders (All-American)

Just beat san jose state 35-27 in my second year navy dynasty. First year I was oc at baylor, I wanted to control offense and defense, so I went to navy as an hc, either them or wahington, I picked navy mainly because I hate everyone besides usc in the pac-12 with a passion. navy has c+ in def, off, and overall. Team going to need some work, not sue if im going to keep the ole option tradition, but its nice to use when you have good backs. Our next game is against Penn State U, im scared, its at Penn too. With these sliders, the better team should win.

lost to maryland with miami in my second dynasty, score was 20-17 in OT. Came back second game and beat Ohio State 48-14. It was close for three quarters until I realized playing zone wasnt working for the U, so I applied pressure a bit. Just goes to show you can lose or win anytime.with these sliders, nice work man.

Re: S.O.S. Sliders (All-American)

OK so it feels like to me that the cpu is getting way to much time to throw the ball my guys cover the wr for at least 6seconds and my guys just cant get through the o line then the wr just run back and the qb throws it and they get a complete pass its annoying i know in college football you get 3 to 4 seconds to at least throw i wish i could just put more pressure on the cpu am also playing my dynasty as uab

Re: S.O.S. Sliders (All-American)

Just wanted to post back to say I started my dynasty using these sliders.

Same settings and everything, playing as the Offensive Coordinator for Kansas.

So far through 6 games, these are my results:

vs. North Carolina, 14-38 L
vs. Northern Illinois, 28-24 W
vs. Wake Forest, 17-12 W
vs. Texas Tech, 41-6 W
vs. Oklahoma St., 28-34 (OT) L
@ Oklahoma, 10-35 L

Current Record: 3-3 (1-2 Big 12)

I gotta say, that's a pretty good approximation of what I can expect, I think, with pretty realistic results for the most part.
I switched up offensive styles after struggling against N. Illinois, and it worked for the most part. the Ok. St. game was incredible, a lot of fun and went down to the last second, literally. Too bad I couldn't get the win, that would have been huge.
I'll post back at the end of my season with my final results.

Re: S.O.S. Sliders (All-American)

Raul,

I actually led the ACC in sacks and about 25 sacks came from my defensive line with another 20 coming from LB's & DB's. (I had a stud LB who had 11)

Make adjustments if you need to.

I finished game 1 of my 3rd season:

Virginia def Delaware, 34-6

____________

To the one user who mentioned too many INTs. I think I saw it because I had three against Delaware.

If I have another big INT game I'll probably go back to 25 because like I said before: I'd rather have too few than too many. Having too many INTs mean you will dominate most games.
