Sliders to Fix Defensive End Pass Rush?

Anyone able to get the defensive ends to generate a better pass rush? I again am disappointment with the lack of outside rush from the CPU defensive line. It seems that both DEs go through the same canned animation over and over and over. A subtle bit of suction? Is there any way for the CPU DEs to bull rush, use some of the swim move animations, fake outside go inside??

Using Play Now I've tested several different slider combos using FSU (B Jenkins 95ovr) vs slow 65 under rated LTs and I see no difference in the pass rush. Jenkins should occasionally dominate that matchup. No, I'm not expecting to see him the the backfield each and every play, but there should be plays were Jenkins really brings the heat, but no matter what slider setting I've tried I cannot get a decent pass rush from the DEs.

This video/discussion is what I'm referring to. DEs over and over repeat same pass rush. And if you set HUM Pass Rush to 100 and CPU Pass Block to 0 you get the over dominant DTs with still no difference in DE rush.

I've noticed this as well. For me it always seems to be the left DT who always puts the pressure on. After that, its the right DT. Every now and again my LE will get pressure. I rarely see my RE get pressure even though he's rated the highest on my line.

So yea, the DEs seem to be neutered for some reason.

Hmm.. This is something I need to keep an eye on. I don't usually pay attention to who gets the sack against me but I've noticed DTs do make some noise u the middle. I do know I've been sacked a few times sliding out the pocket. I have the CPUs pass rush on 100 too.. But I'm going to check this out now that you mentioned it..

This is mind numbingly frustrating..

I hope the Devs see it and patch/tune it soon

this could be independent, but a possible reason is the named roster glitch which caused player tendencies to switch.

That was my thought too.

I don't think it has anything to do with the "named roster bug." I have had the same experiences as the OP with dominant DEs being "neutered" by inferior tackles and I use the default, unnamed rosters.

It doesn't have anything to do with a roster glitch. My game is vanilla besides the patches or tuners that EA puts out. I dont touch peoples roster files, I dont add in custom stadium sounds, I dont do any of that crap (no offense to those who do). I just have this nagging feeling that those types of things ruin the game.

Causes freezes and all kinds of other glitches that people mysteriously start seeing after they import **** like that into their game.
