Coaching sliders: The number listed is the value to the Right of the pass/run slider. I am also recommending decreasing defensive aggression by 20 for each team to reduce the 6man blitz. If you do this you need to reduce pass blocking to allow more pressure with a 4 man front.

Re: Oraeons Coaching sliders and Team stats

Testing results:

Run set max: 45% pass
Run set min: 80% pass

Def Aggression:

Aggression 15/25/50/85 as defenders sent:
4 or less sent: 70%/60%/50%/40%
5 or more sent: 30%/40%/50%/60%
6 sent: 10%/22%/25%/50%

NCAA 6 or more sent 5% time according to stats.

Re: Oraeons Coaching sliders and Team stats

I'm leaning towards using 25 Def Aggression as a base and adjusting based on team defensive rankings for sacks up or down. 50 has too many 6 man blitzs. To account for the less pressure I am probably going to decrease pass blocking for the user.

Forgive me for being ignorant about this but does the run/pass sliders number that Oraeons posted for each coach apply to the number on the right or the left of the slider bar. Still get confused about this!

It should be the number to the left. If you want to be sure check out airforce they are almost exclusively run. If the numbers aren't close between my set and the default then it is the other way around.

Re: Oraeons Coaching sliders and Team stats

Finished testing offensive aggression slider. Very odd I would think this would effect playcalling (i.e. like defensive aggression). But it doesn't as far as I can tell. There is the same number of deep vs short passes in 1/2 game testing. What is interesting is it appears to set all the modifications to offense to aggressive (i.e. Big run, Big catch, etc...). With this slider maxed the CPU had avg of 3 fumbles in one half and more dropped balls than usual compared to no fumbles and few dropped balls at minimum. I don't think i will mess with this slider.

Most interesting in one test I actually saw an offensive pass interference (which I have never seen and didn't think was actually in the game).

Finally I checked the substitution slider but I could see any difference though I will continue to work on this one and see.
