I've said for a long time that default really plays a good game of football. I do play a little differently. I only play O and super sim D. I also do ask coach, never run 4 verts and only occasionally run read option. I almost always get results that are realistic. Right now I'm playing 2013 season mode and playing every game for that week...results of some:

USC(me) 48 Hawaii 3
Utah St(me)34 Utah 31
Mich St(me) 59 Western Mich 7

In some play now games I've been blown out playing as a weaker team against a stronger team.

I also see no robo QB, not even close...I usually fall into the 50-70% range with the occasional 70-80% game with a good QB against a weak secondary.

I followed Matt10s slider thread until it started zapping all the fun out of this game. I actually quit playing for awhile until I've day I said, screw it, I'm just gonna put it on default and play. Been playing steadily ever since. I don't have that kind of time on my hands to be a slider tester. I have a life outside of video games.

Wow, condescend much?

Super simming D nerfs the CPU btw and makes it nearly impossible to lose. Have fun with that

I wasn't trying to be condescending, that's just the way I felt about it. I don't mean to minimize the work they've done, but it made the game excruciatingly tedious for me after a while. Why would I keep playing that way if it takes the fun out of it?

Also I've not really noticed it nerfing the D. But there is a difference in how I do it. If you just sim the possession sometimes I notice it can nerf CPU offense on occasion. However, simming each individual play nets extremely realistic results. I don't know why it nets different results, but it does.

This was just a defensive battle.

Wisconsin QB Joel Stave was held to a 61% completion rating.

CPU QB's often throw the ball away when LB's drop into zone coverage when "YOU" hot route them. I'm not sure if this is applicable in all game difficulties.

Re: I Will Say It First: This Game is PROGRAMMED to be Played on Default...

Very little slider discussion in here and more "Check out how my season is going" talk. I get the idea that you wanna provide statistical examples as to what youre seeing with default sliders but typically there is far more discussion about said sliders and less in depth talk about the games themselves, once it gets to that point you might as well be posting in the thread dedicated to how someones season is going.
