Re: Wide Open Gameplay your friend!

My problem with WOGP was like others have siad, it was fake and scripted. I have no problem with it being a broken play where you did just the right thing on the right playcall. And hit the stick just at the right time. But they actually tuned the game to create flaws to make it wide open, not fixing the problems that previously existed. Hopefully this year when you break the big play it'll be in fair, realistic manner. That's "fun" for me...

pretty much. rarely you see the human team punt. I think in our Legend OD, I averaged 11-16 punts a season. it wasn't because I went for it on 4th down either, it was just every drive was either a score for me, or a turnover.

Re: Wide Open Gameplay your friend!

Just to piggyback...

WOGP was created using two things:
1) They undeniably and intentionally destroyed the pass rush (including the blitz) in order to give the QB time to throw the ball. I don't care if it is High School, Div 3/2/1FCS/1FBS or NFL. If a QB has 5+ seconds EVERY snap to throw the scores are going to be ridiculous.

2) They destroyed defensive awareness. Defensive reaction times were incredibly slow, they never recognized routes (the constantly open curl pattern). The poor pursuit angles were partially a result of being so absurdly out of position because they never reacted to things.

5 minute quarters?

Are we still gonna get 1-3 Pick 6s per game?

Offline with slider tweaks is a different animal than online. We're not really comparing apples to apples in some of these conversations.

If you don't learn to take the sack you will!

LOL...Sacks?

I've got 5 seconds to throw the ball. Why should I worry about sacks?
