Gamestop : Buy without Preorder

just pre order the game if you know youre going to get it anyways and you wont have to worry about it...depending on where you are the gamestops may have only gotten enough copies to fulfill their pre orders...thats why you pre order so you dont have to worry about running all over town trying to find one

yeah i used to preorder games this year and last year and last two year ago are Resident Evil 5, Red Dead Redemption, Madden 10, Madden 09 and NCAA Football 10

footballdude - to echo what cincypuma said, simply look at my post and maybe you will then understand. I went to gamestop to buy the game and they were sold out so I had to drive 10 more minutes to walmart to get it. Yes I was still able to get it but it was an inconvenience. That's all the preorder is for, so that you're not inconvenienced. That's it.

Yea, I'll tell you that in college towns, they will sell out. I remember when I lived in Lincoln, NE, I went to a midnight release. The line was extremely long (about 300 people or so) and there were news reporters there because there were a bunch of Nebraska football players. Needless to say, if you didn't have a pre-order you were out of luck.

I just go to walmart...every single time they give that speech! The last time i heard it i said "Never mind i changed my mind walmart has it without the lecture."
