Re: Another example of broken BCS logic

This is actually kind of realistic, the BCS is broken in real life as well. EA did a good job at simulating the BCS' logic.

Re: Another example of broken BCS logic

I had a terrible example this past season.
#1 Oklahoma (12-0)
#2 Texas (11-1)
#3 Alabama (12-1)
#4 USC (11-1)
#5 Pitt (11-1)
#6 Michigan (12-1)

With as much as I'd hate to see the 4th Alabama/Oklahoma NC game in 6 years, there's no way that Texas should be playing in the NC game against Oklahoma, especially since UT didn't win their conference while the next 4 teams did.

With the original example, if Ohio State was ranked #2 to start the season, they'd probably stay there.

Some of the others...not so much.

Re: Another example of broken BCS logic

Best one in the game I've seen so far was in my old Florida dynasty...both Georgia and I finished with one loss, I beat them in Jax and won the SEC Title game, yet they were 2nd and I was 3rd in the final BCS standings and they played for the NC.

Incredible.

And how many times have they played for the BCS Championship?

Zero.

Know why? Because the BCS actually uses computer rankings. AKA Schedule of Strength actually matters.

The BCS and human poll logic in this game is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. For some of you to pass it off as a realistic representation just because "well, the BCS is screwed up in real life too" is pathetic.

Demand some realism and effort from these video game developers. I swear the BCS logic has regressed in the past few years on this game. We should never see features go backwards.

I agree 100%. I'm sick of the, "well its not right in real life either" excuse.
