I moved Louisville to the ACC and Rutgers to the Big10 so South Carolina didn't play UNC in week 1 they played Georgia instead that's why their 0-1 in the conference thought I would get the confusion out the way lol

Re: How is your dynasty going

So I was bored with the normal conferences and wanted to just mix a lot of things up but still keep teams geographically close. I decided to play as Miami since they are a good team but do not start out ranked and I like their uniforms..I am playing in the SEC with the following divisions
East - Florida, FSU, Miami, South Carolina, Georgia and Clemson
West - Bama, LSU, OKLA, TXAM, Texas and OKState

Other key changes - Lousiville and Maryland to Big ten
MWC, American, B12 and Pac12 have been moved to make Pac12 the powerhouse, other good teams to big12 and then American and MWC is left with weaker teams so I basically have 4 powerhouse conferences.

I am going into week 2 getting ready to play number 6 Florida after beating South Florida 34-17 in week 1. First time using Heisman sliders it took me awhile to be able to get a passing game going without being sacked or rushed out of the pocket in the first game.

Re: How is your dynasty going

So I ended up getting bored with my Hawaii dynasty just because I haven't been into it lately. I started up a Wyoming Dynasty and so far I'm loving it. I think I could stick with this one long term. I'll probably try and get updates posted later on today.

Re: How is your dynasty going

U of Buffalo 2018 season

RECAP

Two time MAC champions Buffalo Bulls (12-2) fine season ends in a Rose Bowl loss to the Oregon Ducks 31-17. Coach Carter and his team adopted the “next man up” mentality this season after a year long battle with injury after injury (Side note: I had so many OL injuries at one point my FB was my starting center for 1 game). The RB duo of Snyder & Bailey only played in 3 games together but senior bulldozer RB Justin Walker stepped up big in his final year.

Senior WR Patrick “I am always open” Harrison leaves UB it’s career leader in receiving yards & touchdowns. He leaves the Bulls in good hands in the form of the 6’5” tandem of junior George Manning and sophomore Byron Harris. QB Blake White and RB Ben Snyder have both announced they will not opt to enter the draft and will return for their senior seasons.

On Defense the Bulls look to have a strong defensive recruiting class for the second year in a row. UB loses 2 time Butkus award finalist, and one time winner, Sean Stephens, but have a young group of speedy LBs ready to step up. Coach Carter is also looking to add depth to the DT position after needing to change to a 3-4 defense for the last 4 games of the 2018 season due to injuries on the DL.

NOTABLE RECRUITS

Corey Weldon 5'10" 215lbs RB 81 rating
Calvin Vandermeulen 6'6" 264lbs DE 80 rating
Chris Mark 5'10" 194lbs CB 78 rating
Marcus Houston 6'5" 270lbs DT 78 rating
Calvin Wesley 6'5" 234lbs WR 77 rating
Glenn Newton 6'0" 249lbs C 73 rating
Manuel Dawson 6'2" 223lbs FS 71 rating

REALIGNMENT & BCS Bowl games

The NCAA reviewed many of the conferences and made some team realignments to bring back some old rivalries and localize competition. Starting with the Buffalo Bulls, two time defending MAC Champions, have been moved to the ACC. While Wake Forest joins the AAC. The Big 10 keeps a twelve team format welcoming West Virginia.

However the most exciting moves were moving Nebraska, Texas A&M & Houston over to the Big 12. These changes will be given a 3 years trial run then the NCAA will review if all major conferences should be required to increase to 14 teams. The success of removing the bowl game tie ins has been a big hit with college football fans, players, coaches and the ADs. This has been made permanent with no eligibility for review for 20 years.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Not sure if this is the place to ask (didn't feel the question warranted a new thread though), but wondering if anyone has gotten decent sack numbers from linebackers in a 3-4 through siming? Been siming away games and defense in game (just to save time, happened to start as an OC so chose to control the offense, sim defense once HC), but it seems my DE's get the sack numbers, maybe rarely an OLB gets decent numbers.

Wondering if it's possible, otherwise thinking of going to the 4-3, just being easier(ish) to recruit for.
