mrlux I'm creating the same teams as well just my own versions of them. All of my favorite teams are FCS but Cal Poly, UNH and others wear uniforms that I just dont like so I create my own but I still want accurate rosters and all the other stuff you mentioned that's why it would be helpful to have the base roster, but if you guys don't give that info its cool I understand

I'm currently working on Lamar, but I'm waiting to see if former 5* recruit Herschel Sims will transfer there after being dismissed from Oklahoma State for felony forgery charges

A base roster is just a template. The people on that rosters ratings are ALL changed to rate a REAL LIFE player. These are AUTHENTIC rosters that will be the same people as real life with the ratings that we think they deserve based on videos and statistics. NONE of the players on any of these teams will go untouched.

I am creating Liberty University and I am using Virginia Tech as my base roster since they will have the same recruiting pipeline as Liberty and they are also sponsored by Nike. . However I have changed every single rating on every single player so far.

If you want the ratings we give those players and our rosters they are easily accessible through teambuilder.

I understand all that Tdavis but in order to match the template and recreate the rosters and brands accurately I would need to know which template you started with again if it's asking too much I get it and apologize

Just to let everyone know, over the holiday I will be updating North Dakota State and Sam Houston State

I need some opinions:

My James Madison team currently uses Oregon's roster as base. This really fits JMU's roster well (4 QBs, only 1 FB, correct # of OL, etc) but the dynasty pipeline states would be really messed up.

Problems with VA schools:

VT - Not enough QBs, one too many FBs
UVA - one too many FBs, more OL than JMU has on their roster

Since JMU has a number of good QBs coming in, there's no way I'm using VTs base. If I use UVA I'd have to move a rookie DT to OT (who would be undersized) and move a TE or something to fill the extra FB spot.

EDIT: I've discovered that Marshall's roster is very close to what I'm looking for but the pipelines will still probably be a little messed up (nowhere near as bad as Oregon though)

So do you think I should:

A. Keep Oregon's base roster - authentic positions, wacky pipelines
B. Use UVA's base roster - correct pipeline, some positions messed up
C. Use Marshall's base - authentic positions, pipelines closer than Oregon but not 100% correct
