First news I saw about Top Spin was in January and the game is releasing April 26. That’s only 3 months which means we might not hear anything until May or even June and could still have a August or September release this year

Don't recall hearing anything about them working on Top Spin 4.5 4 years ago though.

True. Top Spin only has a roster of about 25 tennis stars total. It’s a tiny sport compared to a major league like the NFL and there is no exclusive agreement in place that would make headlines when a new company gets the rights to make a game. I’m also pretty sure Top Spin is mid tier at best. It’s not going to have a huge development team with years of work put into it.

Still, this seems to be 2ks strategy with a lot of their games. Very little in terms of marketing until a few months before a games release. It would be a lot more concerning for the NFL game if they were pushing Top Spin now and it wasn’t being released until holiday season that’s all I’m saying

I figure the game has been completely retooled or scrapped. They're going for the sim license in two years or have something really interesting in the works.

I'm looking at old 2K football (2K2) on YouTube and I'm salivating like Pavlov's dog. SMDH
