I don't think it's a bad thing to scrap HC if it means it's imported into Madden.

Let Josh and Co. work on the franchise mode and at the beginning make it either a) you play the games or b) you coach the games.

Best of both worlds.

But don't scrap it entirely.

Think about that for a minute though. Those of us that play HC (yes I know I'm speaking for others) at least most of us play HC for the strategy/sim/realism. We don't play it to control our players. We're coaches, not players. If (and I can't tell you how much I hope they don't) but if they were to merge the two, then you would have HC players that would never control the players making the Madden portion useless (not counting graphics) and you would have madden players controlling the players, making the gameplan and strategic decisions useless because you would do what you wanted on the field changing the results making the HC portion useless.

Additionally, by merging the two you've cut both games' programming in 1/2 making both games only 1/2 as good with no growth potential.

So out of all the options, integrating the two seems most absurd. Either scrap it or keep it, but combining the two would be like trying to combine 1 gallon of milk (mmm that's good I like milk and I buy it in the gallon) and a gallon of chocolate milk (mmm that's good I like chocolate milk and I buy it in the gallon) in a 1 gallon jug.

You only get 1/2 of each and you lose and you wasted a whole gallon, you don't win anything by trying to cram both of them into one container

one more thing...the madden player and the hc player are not the same player. I'm sure there are a few out there, but those that want to coach don't want to mash buttons. Madden is an arcade game, HC is a simulation. I don't know how else to put it.

Hey Coaches!

There are other articles and "opinions" on the front page about HC. I wont post them every time or run around like a raving lunatic anymore but keep an eye out for articles and polls etc.
I don't think any of us want our virtual coaching futures decided by the button-mashers.
