Will developers ever develop using Blu-Ray's capacity? I'm sure some will, but I'm nowhere near the industry, so I won't pretend to guess when it'll happen. Right now, with however they compress things to fit on discs, it all seems to fit pretty well on the 9 GB (someone correct me if I'm wrong) DVD discs. Blu-Ray's 50 GB capacity seems to be good for storing audio and video content. That's why Madden CE only had two discs instead of three. EA was able to fit the bonus DVD footage on the Madden disc itself.

I'm sure exclusive developers for PS3 games are already using more than DVD capacity, but for sports games from EA and 2K...they don't, probably because it makes good business sense to not have big differences between one game on two systems.

Thanks Smash, actually this is a pretty interesting topic and I"d love for the devs to chime in, but I don't know if starting a thread on this topic would be appropriate for a "sports" forum. But very interesting conversation!
