Re: Unlocking rookies potential

I'm having a harder time getting my Rookies to reach their potential.

I don't get it, I have a FS that has a POT of 91, and he's been sitting at 77 all year even though he's the number 1 probowl vote getter at his position as a rookie, and has played well.

my QB, and CB and most of my Offense has improved from where they were. But most of my Defensive players are not improving. At least not by the numbers. I have a ton of probowlers on defense.

What's the deal with that?

Re: Unlocking rookies potential

Maybe check your position coaches and see what the "potential" skill is set at?

I have noticed the comp will play the starters on the opponenet's team pretty much the whole game on every pre-season game.
I play my starters for at least one quarter in every preseason game, even if they're at mastered... knowledge does deteriorate over time.

Re: Unlocking rookies potential

Potential is unlocked over the course of preseason. All will be unlocked by regualr season. Have to decide whether you want to use the roster spot to see if they have good potential or use it on veteran

your rookies reaching their potential is based on the coaches development I believe the more develop intagibles or develpod physicals the faster they will reach their potential I believe.
