I'm currently stuck one day before the 2009 Draft. Right before the "Start Draft" item pops up on the clipboard, the game freezes. Does anyone know if or how I can get past this?

If you are playing on a ps3 then sadly freezing has been a problem and I dont think many people have found a way around it. They may have fixed it/found a way around it after the patches but I personally would not know.

If you are on the 360, make sure your game is patched and if that does not help install it to your hard drive. Not only will the game run smoother and faster but it almost completely removes the freezing(I have not had my game freeze since installing it,this is back when they first started to allow us to install games to HD maybe 6 months or so now)

But that's the thing, I have it installed to my hard drive. Maybe my disk is scratched or something.

I dunno what to do. I mean, I can make a new career and no freezing happens, but when I try to play my current career, I can't go to the draft.

Mine freezes a lot. The sound will go out and about 10 minutes later BOOP! At least I get a warning.

Yeah once the sound goes, save and reload and it works fine again for a while

Save and reload? I restart my system. Wonder if that'll work.

Yeah to clarify. Once the sound goes i save it. Then attempt to quit and reload. Sometimes it freezes then so i have to restart the PS3

I'll try that out. I was looking for a reason to play this game again.
