Why the hell would you want that many picks? I got 13 the other day and that was enough for me.

I have had some drafts where going in I probably had close to that many. I have had ones where there were 3 or 4 rounds where I had 6 or 7 picks but never really counted the total. However, when I get to that point I start looking to trade up both to get players I really want and to avoid having to draft so many players.

I've definitely noticed a trend in that teams will seek to trade up in the first 5 rounds, not so in the last 2. In my experience, you can't give away 6th or 7th round picks, you simply have to use the ones you got. Definitely avoid getting too many 6th or 7th rounders.

I have usually been able to get rid of 6ths and 7ths sometimes but not always. I can usually use them to trade up into the 3rd or 4th though.

The common way many aqquire alot of picks are they contastly trade down or they continue to trade away players in there last contract year... Having about 20 picks is great for me, because that allows me to use them to trade up in the early rounds to get great talent, so that I can keep my team young...

Btw, I usally only trade down when there isn't anything good in that year to warrant a first, second, or third...
