Froget Rex Ryan (though I do like him as a coach) my defenses are more like the even more insane blitzes of his dad Buddy. I was running the 85 bears defense along with the 70s falcons blitz 9 men every play philosophy

Most of my plays man up 5 on 5 and then blitz 6 so u always have a free runner

Yeah it's a huge risk but it's usually worth it. The key is to not have any free runners. Have 5 guys in coverage just in case. As long as their OVRs are 85+ they should be able to cover long enough for the pass rush to get there

That was well said and the basic philosophy behind the Kimikazi defense I use. I find that I throw in plays that don't work as well, just so I can have variation. I just wish this game was harder, even though 90% of football fans can't figure it out.

Exactly in order to make the game a little harder I have to not use special skills

Same here, execpt that I give my guy the playbook learning ones. I really really wish that the devs had been more explicit about which skill does what...i mean what it REALLY does. I have played since it came out, and i don't play much else, andf I'm still guessing half the time.

Yeah I do know that the strategy skill determines the accuracy of the formation of your opponent that shows up in the play call screen
