There are several new Xbox copies listed on half.com for under $20 (plus a few bucks for shipping of course).

Damn! I'm too late. I was actually thinking of giving this game another try. I picked it up about two months ago and thanks to an understanding manager at Best Buy returned it for NHL10. Enjoying NHL10, but at $20.00 NHL2K10 might be worth another whirl.

For 20 bucks this game is worth it 10x over.

If I never played 2k, I was content with NHL10. But after 2k, i can't go back to NHL10 since the gameplay in 2k is more action packed and intense. EA's game now just plays boring. That doesn't mean ti sucks, Bec I'll still keep it around for online and it does have playable minor teams, BAP, and other modes 2k doesn't. Also NHL10 is just an easier game to pickup and play than 2K is.

The only minus with 2K is you have to get the sliders right to make the game work, which sucks especially if you want to just relax and play. But once you find them, the game plays pretty good.

BTW.... if you get 2k for $19.99 and it's not for you, Toys R Us is giving back $15 trade in for the game (360/PS3). So you'll only be losing 5 bucks which is actually better than a rental.
