If NHL 2k12 is for real - I am willing to bring Ultimate Rosters to 2k's Franchise

Well CAP limit wouldn't even matter if they opened up the player editing, so you could change the B-day and Position of 2K created generated players. Then all they would have to do is edit players on the AHL squads. Heck even I would be roster gung ho if that was the case. Of course, if 2K12 had the kind of bugs that 2K10 does in the roster management portion of the game, not so much. That's a big reason I gave up on 2K10.

I really only focus on Pros and prospects but Next year this will put NHL 2k12 back on the map and
Its truly becoming a Cinderella story while raising from the ashes with Playoff beards and Missing teeth like Duncan Keith . TBC

I remember back in the 2K PS2 days, you could edit real players.

My friends and I would go and find players who looked like us, and then we would rename them to our own names, and edit their stats to represent us..

Therefore, our avatars would have photos on them in the game!

-2K needs to bring back full customization like that!

(with all this NBA ELITE discussion that's going around, I sure hope 2K ALSO listens to what the fans want, as a way of making their games better.)

Sure and then your franchise will freeze making all your work of editing worthless. I wouldn't get all excited until knowing for sure either way. Being a realist in this situation, and knowing 2k's track record when it comes to editing even WITH roster share, 9 out of 10 times it ends up being useless due to it creating franchise freezes and having limits on CAP.

2k10's AHL rosters weren't complete by any means even after the couple of roster updates, so good luck getting any sort of "ultimate" roster deal going on.

I still think they honestly need to take a full year off period, build a new engine from scratch, remove all the broken legacy code from past versions, and do it right. But since NBA is the only sports title 2k gives a crap about in the first place, odds are it's not going to happen.
