God of War Ragnarok (PS4, PS5)

I’ve thought about trying to get the platform and I had 99% in one region and missing a collectable. But I went through a video and I have them all. The stupid requirement is bugged. I’ve read some are like that. It’s annoying but I probably didn’t want to do it all anyways.

Finished this game, few of my thoughts:

• Better than 2018, truly. Combat was fun, new weapons, playing as Atreus was fun. While the path was linear, I was anticipating what was going to happen but the story went another.
• I admittedly thought about the first few hours that the game was lazy as it was the same thing as 2018. But that mindset changed quite quickly!
• Rage Atreus is awesome
• Graphics, even down to the hair strands, is amazing...this is on my PS4 too! I can't imagine how great it looks on PS5
• The side quests felt fun for me? With RPGs, I like to do the main story and side quests simultaneously and finish as much of the side quests as possible until when I finish the game...I'm done. They didn't feel like filler for me, they seemed to add to the story and lore quite well.
• This game doesn't do many cutscenes but rather integrates into the gameplay, even if you're just walking to a certain objective. I love that.
• Thinking about the story, it's an interesting theme the game is giving. We all choose our destiny, regardless of what others proclaim or think our lives will be. I love that.
• The number of boss fights and how well they were done was incredible. Fight with Thor (both!), Heimdall, Grom, Gryla, Odin, different beasts. Each was unique.
• I don't understand the Odin/Tyr thing at towards the end. The game didn't even explain how that could be possible.
• After Odin died, not sure why Ragnarok was still fighting? To destroy Asgard?
• My favorite moment? While with Tyr in Alfeim, I see a side route that I know is not the main path but to get any chests. The dialog...Tyr: "Kratos, the path is this way?" Atreus: "My dad likes loot."

I finished it, loved it, and it's my game of the year...but could you PLEASE go back and spoiler tag this post? There are people (like me on most games) that wait for a sale and purchase games later that still haven't gotten to enjoy this game, yet.

The game is almost 4 months past release. If folks don't want to see spoilers, why would they open this thread? I definitely didn't.
