I feel the exact same way, it's a smash bros rip-off but since Nintendo messed it up with the terrible online support I'm glad to get a game like this with proper online support. Definitely picking this up!!

It's hilarious on GAF, the pitchforks are out about this game being such a ripoff of SSB. As much as its a ripoff, I think its not a bad idea considering that they have such a huge roster of characters they can use + expect tons of DLC. From the one interview last night, it sounds like this game has been in the works for sometime. I wonder if MSFT will attempt something similar.

Anyway, I'm sold, looks fun. They have to have Kevin Butler in game though, if not it'll be really disappointing.

If you include 3rd party and they dig back into the original Xbox, I think they would have enough. I think that Sony will also dig into some of their 3rd party titles from PS1/2 era for this.
