Planetside 2

Got up to level 9 my first night. Got on last night and my character was lost. A little irritating. Got back up to level 7, almost 8 though. The game is definitely fun. I only tried it for a little bit on PC, but on PS4 I am enjoying it, but the PS4 does struggle to run the game at times. For now I may stick with the PS4 version despite my PC being able to run it a whole lot smoother because I'm just having fun again having a shooter on my console.

Having never played a Planetside game I was overwhelmed at first but I'm slowing getting the hang of things. I've just been a medic so far but will try the other classes as I get comfortable with the mechanics of the game. I do appreciate it's scope as it makes you feel small but at the same time makes you feel like you're still contributing. Overall I've had fun with it & will continue to play. Finally figured out how to throw a grenade R1 & L1 at the same time. The struggles of a Planetside noob

I'm in the same boat.

Do you guys change the sensitivity? I feel like it's playing "loose" for me right now on default as far as aiming

Yea I had to lower the infantry sensitivity and up the aimed

So.....just to make sure I'm not a total idiot....the point of the game is to try and take over the whole map right?

Heard from a friend, the faction with the most territory in a month gets a xp boost. Seems your supposed to take control of the whole map and keep it.

The game is a lot of fun, just that the option to play with friends is a bit tough to do and doesn't work all the time.

Yea the system is clunky to get into a squad with your friends and being in a squad needs a better hud system.

I'd be surprised if the don't continue to optimize and improve the game on PS4. Blacklight plays way better now than it first did on ps4.

I can see myself sinking real time into this game.
