Man, my regular raiding group just cannot beat Oryx on hard mode. Its at the point we're all considering just doing up to the daughters and finding individual PUGs to finish it. I mean we get as far as rhe first shade and that's it.

I guess we'll keep at it, but 4 hour attempts each time and not making much progress is frustrating.

People dying in the shade due to slams or excess thrall (extra spawn by the back platform before the shade when Oryx moves) or people die trying to kill the late 4th knight. And a few times acolyte eyes in the front because people are so focused on the knight forgetting about acolytes. Random crap like that every time.

It's annoying because we blitz through the rest, even challenges, no problem.

Two titans in the middle with blessings and weapons with touch of malice are god tier. They make oryx sooooooo much easier. You can have one with a sniper, but touch is just so much better at this.

Guys on plates can shoot ogres, but especially if you have the two titans their #1 priority is to kill their knight. Also crouch towards back of plate, just try not to fall off like my dumb *** has done before. It's also a good idea to reload touch before this part, so of you see an eye and need a primary it won't help the eye instead of you.

Designate one guy to kill extra knight, and one to help. It can be a center titan, but it's best as a plate guy as sometimes the titans will be a tad low on health after last ogre. Someone else can help, but once oryx slams they need to worry about that instead of knight. Will probably be dead by then anyway. An alternate here, the guy opposite the empty plate, that guy can drop onto the ledge behind the plate to kill extra knight, pretty safe back there and knight will spawn right next to you. Then you can loop around the back side to get to center, just have to make sure not to touch bomb.

For shade, once you kill adds, then detonate if not challenge, pause and switch primary to something other than touch, I switch to hung jury. Once you do that, and oryx is switching to front, jump on top of a daughter's platform. From that vantage you can see and clear every thrall spawn, I've been solo as last in and every thrall was dead before they could even move from spawn spot.

People that are inside, asap they need to start shooting oryx, I like heavy but sniper is OK. Once more than one is in, when he switches spots, call out left right or 180 depending on where he moves. When he is getting ready to slam, you can try the jump/run over/at shade, but don't just jump around in there. Keep shooting and watching while on the ground, jumping just makes you much less agile and you lose dps. If you see him moving towards you, then move and jump at right angles to his path, he'll swing and miss.

When shade screams (dies), switch back to touch, you'll leave menu right as you are moved back to the main fight are for next cycle.

That's pretty much what I do, hopefully something helps. When we don't get some lag or similar nuttiness, we have oryx pretty much down pat.

Hi guys

Being new to the ps4 would this game be good to add to the library. I hear it's not the best game if you play solo, I don't really have anybody to play with but the game looks fun

It's endless fun either solo or with a group. Either way, you'll make friends, meet people, or join a clan. There's always others playing to team up with.
