Same thing I got. About to try with my alt Titan.

EDIT: Meh. Got 2 radiant shards. Would have loved to snag one of the new exotics already, but it was not to be.

It's not necessarily new exotics. From the exotics I heard of people getting, they are all old.

You get more light from them and a higher defense number when fully upgraded. My raid gauntlets are 30 light and 329 defense, the new ones will be 33 light and 347 defense once I have them fully upgraded.

^ if the new ones are 33 light then they will only take you to level 31, just like the ones being sold from the vendors.
