Oh, the joys of an online game. Trying the level 24 weekly by myself to get a feel for the new strike, and I lose connection right after expelling the hive from the Terrestrial Complex.

Ugh.

Also seeing a lot of "Attempting to contact Destiny servers" notifications. Just had to quit out before a different strike to get it to actually start. To be expected with this many people playing right now I suppose.

Raid gear and exotics are 36 light now, vendor items are 33.

The new raid definitely steps the difficulty up seriously. Damn hard as Level 30s. Probably ideal to be 32 just to get through normal mode, but obviously you need to get all the raid armor before you can get to 32. Double-edged sword this time instead of like the VOG, where you could hit 28 without all raid gear.

you can get vendor gear that is 33, think that might be the route to go

Finally reached level 26. I've never done the Vault of Glass, what level is recommended?

Only got past the first check point, but pulled in No Land Beyond (from first chest) and raid gloves (first checkpoint).

I'll take it.
