Re: Europa Universalis IV

my Common wealth game in 1732AD.

I've had 3 huge wars with Crimea+Ottomans. In one of the wars, I occupied nearly all of the lands in the on the Europe side, got around 90% warscore, then settle on forcing Ottomans to release a few small nations, giving land back to other nations(like Hungary who was down to 1 province, but now back to around 7-8), as well as forced Crimea to release Georgia and a few other nations from them. the last war I was just going against Crimea, beat them down easy, they are now down to 2 provinces, so the next war will be the end for them.

Russia has actually been losing land due to rebels.

I was allied with Spain for a while, but that wasn't much fun as they are in war pretty much all the time, mostly colonial wars in America. I have no interest in such lands.

Japan formed and taking over Korea and north east China. France mainland is small, but they have been growing in colonies. I think they are best buds with Spain. Great Britain managed to united the British isles again, but then rebeled and Ireland formed.

Naples is winning the war for Italy.

Russia colonized Taiwan.

I have so much gold, I have nothing to spend it on. I think it may be too easy to make money in the game. at one point I had something like 20K gold, despite full army and navy(which I don't even use), Russia is actually the leader in technology, which is scary. I believe I come a close 2nd.

Re: Europa Universalis IV

It's now 1760. Another huge war against Ottomans, this time I think I broke the Ottomans. I now have Crimea as my vassal as I couldn't annex them since Ottomans joined the war and was the war leader. I forced Ottomans to realse Serbia, give some more land back to other nations. The biggest thing was that I completely destroyed their armies. They had 0 troops at the end of the war and I occupied all of their European provinces.

I couldn't cross the sea as they have over 140 ships to my 25, but I think the damage was done. now a lot of other nations all declared war on them to take back their lands. Oman took a good chunk from them, now some of the Eastern European nations declared war to take some land. I think they completely ran out of manpower, so they could be in some trouble from quiet some time. I think now that I'm done with Crimean lands, I'll start to go south and liberate the Greek provinces. not sure If I want to take them for my self, or possibly try to bring back the Byzantines by forcing Ottomans to release them.

Thinking about what my next game will be once this one is done. thought about a Brandenburg game to form Prussia and maybe even form Germany. Also thought about Finishing my CKII Russian game and import that, but I've grown to love Ironman mode now, and you can't use that with imported games.

there is a demo on steam that you can download. if your computer can play the demo, you should be good. I'm pretty sure you'll be ok though with that setup.

Re: Europa Universalis IV

I have no idea how, but I have become the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire in my Commonwealth game. I don't even own any HRE Provinces.

So a Protestant Nation controls the HRE. lol

Re: Europa Universalis IV

After disappearing from OS to download the demo...It worked and I ended up with this game now LOL

I'm definitely more used to Civ, Civ II, Civ III, and Civ IV. Oh yeah it was like that. I tried V, but had more of an attachment to my Civ IV, so never threw down on a copy of V.

Now I am glad that I didn't.

Once I can get enough hours in and learn this, Irish unification here I come!

Just spent an hour on that task. Yup, got squashed lol.

Any economic tips? Besides don't spend more than you make lol.
