I need to give this game a shot. I always just assumed it was more of a technical showcase than anything else.

Its pretty fun. I didn't realize it used the motion controls, but its implemented very nicely. It has the feel of a flying game, but obviously not as technically driven as most others.

Hear you on that one. I've been waiting on Shenmue 3 for the last few years. Hopefully it will get released. Both one and two need to be experience to appreciate the cult following of the series.

Re: Games that must be experienced.

It's probably just me, but Bionic Commando is one of my probably top-5 favorite games ever. I'm not sure I even heard about it when it was released (couldn't play it anyway back then), and never thought I'd be interested in something that doesn't have some realistic side to it.

But, I started watching some walkthrough videos last year and ended up getting it. I played it and was frustrated with the controls of the arm, though liked the game, and traded it in. I got it again this year and finished it and couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it. Every now and then I still watch gameplay videos and will probably play it again. I know it's not that special of a game, but there is something about it that draws me back again and again.

I'd love to see a next-gen version of it, would love it!
