Re: Mafia 3

The game looks pretty, the setting is awesome, the story seems like one I'll love, but that driving is brutal. It looks so bad. I was one of the ones who used the realistic setting in Mafia II. Maybe I was in the minority, but I hate what they've done with the driving. Maybe when I get my hands on the game my opinion will change.

I'm hoping more detail is put into the city and atmosphere than the video showed. I'm sure it will be as the game nears release. I definitely am excited. The first two are two of my favorite games.

Re: Mafia 3

I really wish they would give us a release date! This TBA is killing me.

Re: Mafia 3

The preview was GREAT to read! I love driving around in the world, sometimes doing things, sometimes just wandering around enjoying the view. Reading how this game has become more of a true open-world game, has me really excited. If the driving/handling/physics/damage are good, I will love it. I loved Mafia 2's driving physics, but the damage system was lacking.

Any word about map size/shape?

Re: Mafia 3

I just hope that we won't have to do constant babysitting from across the map on turf where we already took control. That is the most annoying thing an open world game can do.
