Looks like he's wearing a trench coat/bomber jacket. Could be WW1 or WW2. I can't wait for tomorrow!

I was watching something on The History Channel or American Heroes Channel. It was about how Hitler rose to power from this plant or tree truck that was dug up somewhere. It looked like a human figurine. Hitler told his friend about how it has powers. So, when Hitler was at the brink of failure and giving up, his friend went and found it and brought it back. Then he pushed his reign that we all know about.
I think it would be cool if Battlefield 5 was about that or something like that, and bring all the wars together in one game. WW1 America knows of this power and searches for it. WW2 Hitler has it, then when he dies it's lost. Korean war, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia to Iraq it's found and the world is saved from the wrong hands.. Imagine the multiplayer maps we would have.
Or have a story of a timeline of a family going through each war.
I, like others, would love Vietnam though, and not future stuff. They were getting at that with the dlc and it turned me off.

I've heard all along it was going to be a bridge set in between BF 4 to 2142 so I would guess the shadow is of a titan and they are going to flesh out the beginning of the 2142 story. I would prefer a historical setting but 2142 was a hell of a game.

Yeah, everything I saw was guessing WW1....I'd be interested in their take on that nowadays, with modern gaming tech....

I'm looking forward to seeing what direction they go with BF5. I'm also looking forward to:

1.) Getting the old crew back together.
2.) New Battlefield Friend episodes.
3.) JNes Rhino video's
4.) eF's war stories. (Chocolate chip bagel)
5.) Bolt unlocking every damn gun in the game before anyone.
